@cvm1111: ITACHI: •Killed his loving parents •ACTUALLY murdered innocent children (unlike the made up bs y’all say about Maki, which it was NEVER remotely stated she did) •Tortured his little brother by using his Mangekyō Sharingan, forcing Sasuke to relive his family’s massacre 518,400 times. Yes he was forced and manipulated into doing it, but it didn’t excuse him murdering innocent children and torturing Sasuke. It was overkill. And yet I still see people glazing and dick riding him for doing it. MAKI: •Had a hateful father that willingly tried to kill her and Mai by throwing them into a pit filled with cursed spirits so they could eat/kill them. •The person she cared about the most and was constantly fighting for to make the Zen’in clan a better place to live in, (her sister Mai) was murdered. •She was physically abused (CLEARLY shown in the manga, were Naoya used to beat her). • Was verbally abused by her mother, constantly told she was worthless and how much her mother wished she was never born. •Was oppressed (DUH, if you watch the anime with your eyes open you’ll know this) •Had to deal with creepy old men (mentioned in JJK 0). •Was UNNECESSARILY kept in grade 4 for no good reason, making her job difficult. •Was stated MULTIPLE times (if you can read) that the Zen’in clan was a horrible place with shitty people (mentioned by Gojo in hidden inventory). •Slaughtered a clan that viewed women as less, shown via Maki’s mother who was treated like a servant by Naoya, tying his shoes (cuz apparently the bum doesn’t know how), opening the door for him etc. And also shown via Naoya, who’s whole character literally represents how shitty the Zen’in clan was and how they viewed women. •Yes, she killed the kukuru unit that was WILLINGLY and CONSTANTLY trying to kill her. You people expected her to do absolutely nothing against a whole bunch of bald men running at her with katanas? What did you expect? For her to spread her arms for a big group hug??? •Had to slaughter all of them to finally put an end to the cycle of the Zen’in clan’s abusive, power hungry and misogynistic traditions. No, Maki is not a good person, NO ONE in jjk is a good person, they’re not super heroes, they’re sorcerers. I am in no way shape or form saying you can’t like Itachi, I just find it so stupid how Itachi gets glazed to oblivion for slaughtering his clan while Maki gets shit on and slandered. You really expect me not to think it’s misogyny? seriously?
