The 'real' reason that European markets can't compete is due to the (extremely) high energy costs. The Chinese, by building hundreds of coal fired power stations, beat us hands down. Yes, the Climate is 'changing' but I don't believe there to be a 'crisis'. This whole thing could have been managed better and over a (slightly) longer period. Too late... China 1 : Western World 0

Toyota have nothing to worry about...these Chinese cars have no pedigree.. they may look the biz...but anywhere other than in china they won't last more than a couple of years..who would want to buy a second hand Chinese car....
