I struggled with anger issues in the earlier years of my sons life. Decided one day I had to change because I was raised in fear and I made a promise to myself and to God when I was a child I would not treat my Son the same way I was treated. I left out on my own at 17 and my father and I never had a healthy relationship. I saw my father coming out in me and decided I would check my emotions at the door before talking to my kids. We have home filled with peace and love now and my son knows he can come to me with anything. thanks for posting this.

Nope … I would never .. my wife knows to never ask me about my day at work .. when I clock out I’m home I don’t bring that shit home or talk about it at home .. my wife and my 2 boys get me through the day so I return the favor when I get home

Man I really needed this today. I had already noticed the anger creeping back in any chance it could make, but after the way I behaved it's very apparent he's full on back. But I have grown a lot so now I do what it takes to run him outta town then be more mindful of him slipping back in. Lucky for me I've been fighting this battle all my life so I have learned what to do to free myself from him. Praise Jesus
