I don't understand why you used GPT Zero though? GPT zero is absolutely atrocious and Pangram is indeed in a league of its own. It's unironically so much better and more accurate than any other AI detector out there and it's not particularly close either.

AI detectors are so inconsistent as to be completely worthless. As for writing, if a human dictates into AI and it writes what they said and then you tell it to tidy it up and then it reads it back to you and you say reframe this part and move this part over here and move that bit there how different is that than having somebody that’s taking dictation for you and making adjustments? And if humans can’t really tell, then it doesn’t matter at all. This is the problem. we all want to think that someone’s soul is in the writing, and we only want to hear from humans, but when I studied English at university I was told that you should not attach the artist to the art (which I often disputed and debated). But if you’re not going attach the artist to the art, does it matter if the artist is even human?

A.i is only becoming more sophisticated, is it possible for it to become better at creating art then the best? Or does it not have the capicity for imagination without a human?

there's got to be more to it than tone shift or not tone shift because if both tone shift and not tone shift indicate AI then tone shift is not a marker for it AI there's no distinction

if we all change out style of writing i to something guaranteed to be "safe" from AI flagging, and which will subsequently be more and more meta-associated with "real" human expression, this exact style will be fed into the next generation of data that feeds the LLM and shows it what tropes make it appear "real" and authentic now, which will at first emphasise these tendencies in societal writing evenmore, but also will now start getting flagged by mor e and more "AI detectors" that are also trained on newest AI outputs, and people will recognise this as how their generated answers tend to sound, so this will then probably rather sharply become the new "AI standard vibe", and a new vibe will be created and curated by people to combat that and show that you're a real author, which will feed into the exact same machine the exact same way, and so on, weve just dived into an eternal hellish cultural circle jerk 😭

That is nice, but we are going to enter the world where you cannot tell if it is AI or not either way for two resons.
1. AI is just rapidly getting better at emulating people.
2. Students are now talking and writing like the AI. The children who grow up with it are about to act crazy. lol
