@esila.a57: In France, a “blocus” is when students block the entrance to their school, usually as a form of protest. Students might do it because they disagree with things such as: * changes to education or exams * school conditions or lack of resources * government decisions affecting young people * sometimes broader political or social issues During a blocus, students may stand in front of the school, put barriers at the entrance, or organize a demonstration. The goal is to prevent or disrupt normal school activity so their demands get attention.
