Because like chris watts he didn’t want to have to lose control or have to pay up.. I agree with you he should of just walked away and now he gets nothing so it’s not like he was going to win from his choices

Money. That’s all they care about. Not wanting to pay child support, spousal support, half the house etc. The best advice my Gran ever gave me was. Don’t argue, don’t say a world just walk out leave your stuff and we’ll get it. Because when they know your leaving that’s when your most at risk of being murdered.
