@politicalscientist: When we say there are people who truly love this country, some may not believe us. But today, during the Morning Digest, I was emotionally overwhelmed. I could not hold back my tears as I reflected on the state of our beloved Nigeria. During a Spotlight On session with Malam Mahdi Shehu, our colleague, Halima Abdulrauf, was also overcome with emotion and cried while discussing the current situation of our country. Her tears were not just tears of sadness; they reflected the pain, concern and love many Nigerians carry in their hearts for this nation. As Nigeria marks 66 years of independence, my prayer is that Allah heals our nation, gives our leaders wisdom, protects our people, and restores hope, peace, prosperity and unity to Nigeria. May Allah make Nigeria a truly great nation and bless all Nigerians. Ameen.
