When they refuse, ask them to put it on the record that you had asked and were denied. Make sure you leave a paper trail of your concerns and how easily they were dismissed!

I have chiari too. The decompression surgery changed my life. I’m still in pain but I don’t feel like my head is going to explode anymore. It doesn’t feel like my eyes are staining as hard anymore- it unfortunately is incurable. But it helps lessen the symptoms 🧡 I’m so sorry.

Imagine the trauma he went through. Every day. As an adult I have to work super hard, every day, to not lose my mind because of chronic pain. It's maddening. Imagine him, so little, every day, not knowing why. It will have altered his personality and future forever. 🥺🥺🥺
