On Sep. 25, all 50 districts of the capital city were declared disaster-affected zones. The flooding prevented many airport staff from traveling to work, which reportedly caused flight delays and longer waiting time for baggage collection. Some travellers said they waited for up to 8 hours just to get their bags. On Sep. 26, Thai Airways announced that they are coordinating with the Royal Thai Air Force to help with passenger assistance.
