5k+ hour tarkov player here, this is BARELY tarkov. very clear that ai doesnt understand how to make any of the actual gameplay and just foists over the assets and what it thinks the assets should be centered around.

Mods were created before AI but realistically stuff like this simply wouldn't be worth anyone's time before vibecoding, I think it's a positive thing that they're being created

it’s cool but without any new objectives or anything it’s essentially a more advanced single player GMOD. fun for like 5 minutes before you realize you’re playing single player GMOD

Seeing things like this over the last few weeks has sparked that curiosity in my mind. Life’s been boring for a while and not many things really draw me in with that obsession like when I was young that’s ok that’s life but something in me is yearning to learn coding and ai to try and make my own game. I see people making the dumbest games I’ve ever seen and selling for 2$ but then they sell a couple million copies that’s HUGE why not you? I think that’s the next thing I wanna try I have a really good computer and setup. What do you think guys is that’s nothing any of yall have thought about or think is a good idea obviously don’t want ai slop but to slowly create a game over time and see what it become might be really interesting

They definitely use ai but vibe coding is a hell of a over statement. This was done via rewriting both games in the language and engine Rust, which is mostly just rewriting code slightly differently. Billions of lines of code would take modders years to do, and it’s literally 100% busy work, there’s no skill involved, so, ai did most of that work.
