Flynn, a worship pastor, called 911 claiming a burglar had broken in, but prosecutors said he staged the scene to cover up the killing. The trial heard he had been having an affair with Alleigha Botner, a worship leader at his own church, exchanging more than 100,000 texts and getting matching Harry Potter tattoos, with his hidden in his armpit. Messages read to the jury showed Flynn writing that he had been awake until 4am thinking of ways to kill his wife without going to jail. The jury took two and a half hours to convict.
