2020 was the last presidential election where I only did presidential elections. Voted for Biden and then each time there was an election, I went.

🎯🎯🎯🎯🎯 Oftentimes local/state elections matter more than the national one.

Shellz :

Same, this was my first year voting in the primary and will be the first for the midterms!🙄

EpicCroft :

And if you’re struggling to find information on the candidates in your local races, the league of women voters and Vote 411 may be helpful resources

Elle R. :

It starts at the bottom......locally 😳

dlovestheview :

I was the same. Now I deep dive on all of my local candidates. I’m talking looking at all of the websites, social media posts, what my local journalists and political groups are saying, etc. i also check who contributes to their campaign because that says a lot!

TaxChat :

In my nick of the woods, some of these Republicans do not declare their party affiliation on the ballot or campaign signs. I walk with my phone grab a sample ballot posted outside the election room, step back and at least make sure I know which candidate/ party i am voting for

kat chance :

Same here. I wish I had been more involved

Miranda C Brooks :

💙Texas voters! 💙

MeganLaw :

I think the hardest part is judges! there's no party affiliation. I have a list now, in my phone, that I add to, when I see concerning/good rulings.

Dani :

quite

Wanda Lee433 :

I know better now. Embarrassed that I didn’t know how important this is.

Ms.Shadow0505 :

Bernie Sanders and AOC got me into learning about the people that are on the ballots

LiberianByGodsGrace :

so disappointing that those most impacted are the ones not showing up to vote.

KaisersKorner :

I get it. I converted to Democrat years ago and vote for all the local and national elections.

THANK YOU!!!!

Use the Goovy App it will show all candidates and where they stand and who they accept contributions from!

✨Lovie 📚❌💙✨ :

I’ve voted at every election since I was 18, I’m 48, except in 2016. I still regret not voting for her. The other side got to me and I didn’t like either. 💔 I will never not vote again! 💙🫶

Don’t listen to what other people are saying, do your own research, VOTE💖

Katsun🇨🇦🍃 :

There is only 1 or 2 that I have missed as an adult. They make it harder and harder to vote. I wonder when we can claim it’s rigged though…

optimistic_nihilist :

local elections are super important. maybe more important.

Angel9k5 :

Notice how, in most states, the counties only do road work is when it’s voting season. I live in an area where people don’t even run against others cause it’s known you won’t win. Our sheriff. Known for cheating in reality and with other people’s wives. Known to be untrustworthy. But he wins every time no one runs against him. And this is reason why people stop voting
