@artem_pankovich: A COMMON JOB MECHANICS DON’T LIKE - FUEL FILTER REPLACEMENT. • Ford C-Max 2.0 TDCi fuel filter replacement! • Today we’re working on a 2009 Ford C-Max with the 2.0 TDCi diesel engine, code IXDA. The fuel filter replacement itself is not a difficult job, especially when replacing the complete filter housing. • There are two options: replace only the filter element inside the housing or replace the complete housing with the filter already installed. In this case, we’re replacing the complete assembly. • The job is quite straightforward - disconnect the fuel line quick-connects, remove a few mounting bolts and the filter housing is out. • The most important thing is to keep the fuel system clean. Once the lines are disconnected, make sure no dust, dirt or debris can get inside. • And then comes the important part: priming the fuel system. Instead of trying to start the engine with an empty filter, I use a special vacuum tool to pull fuel through the new filter and remove the air from the system. • After that, the engine starts normally without excessive cranking or rough running. 🔧🚗 • The complete process is shown in the video! • #supermechanik #artempankovich #carservice #goldenhandsmechanic #Autos
