My fiancé is from Spain and he still lives there. We’ve been together for just over 3 years now and we’re making it work. We’re in the process of planning our wedding and we’re starting the visa next year. The distance has never been a problem for us, it truly does make the heart grow fonder and how lucky are we to be with someone that we miss this much.

I’m in London my boyfriend is in America best relationship I have ever been in, communication is perfect! It is so worth it to me I will not find someone like him round my area I am 100% marrying that man and some people think it’s weird that I think I want to marry him already haha oh well! Love of your life is defo not always in your hometown!

Completely agree!! My boyfriend has just moved to my city after us doing 18 months of us living 2.5 hours apart and it’s the best relationship I’ve had too. It’s genuinely also helped me live my own life too and not be codependent on a man like I have in the past, best thing to have happened x

Yeah literally I have no anxiety whatsoever, people will cheat on u when ur down the road from eachother. There’s so many stereotypes, some people try to fill doubt in your head because they’re more than 10 mins down the road. It’s the people in the relationship that make it work. When I see my man it’s actually the best missing someone this much IS AMAZING 🥺🥺🥺

long distance was the best thing i ever did 🫶🏼 been long distance for 5 years and last month me and my partner moved in together (it was so worth the wait) long distance has made us appreciate the little things more. it’s has made us have patience with each other, it’s made us be more understanding and our love for each other has blossomed so much it’s stronger than ever. the relationship has never been under any pressure and now we are ready to start the next chapter in our lives! to everyone - never listen to anyone that tries to bring your relationship down. you and your partner will know what you have if it’s special. do what’s right for you. sometimes you have to be selfish❤️

This is so true!! I’ve been in long distance for over two years now, he’s 4 hours away from me but I honestly can’t imagine myself with someone in my area, I love my own space and having my time away from him because then we have so many things to tell each-other. We aren’t smothering each-other where we do absolutely everything together

This!!! And tbh I see and spend more quality time with my boyfriend more than some of my friends who they live with their boyfriends. Long distance isn’t a negative if you both commit to putting in the effort. It has its downsides but I just think your bond is so much stronger for it. You value your time together so much more 🥰
