Oh my goodness. I kid you not. I went to this same exact stall last month in Gwangjang Market because I felt bad that nobody was at this grandpa’s stall. We ordered 3 items and a beer and he gave us grapes as dessert for free. He even tried to comp one of the items because he said we ordered too much. He was wearing a flat cap that time and was just the sweetest, most adorable grandpa. We left him 50k won and pretended like we had to leave asap so he had no choice but to keep the change (the tab was just under 30k won). He then gave us the sweetest smile and tipped his hat. That experience will always be one of my fondest memories of all of my trips to South Korea. Seeing this really makes my heart full.
