As a blue dot in a red state, I get chafed by the progressives in their safe blue states who scream “never Kamala” or “they get one chance to make sweeping reform or they’re out”. Like some of us are fighting for our lives and our daughters in red states that we know can be great if given the opportunity. But blue state progressives don’t see the value in changing what we can when can even if a little at a time so that we can keep electing more progressive candidates. But if someone doesn’t check all their boxes straight away, they’d just rather give into the republicans.

I feel like it’s bc post modernism has become doctrine at this point. There are a lot of valuable things in the post modernist movement, but I’ve noticed the left is not able to look at the world outside of that lense. Not every model of the world is going to apply to every situation
