The best decision I made in Taiwan was staying overnight in Jiufen. I booked an overnight stay to avoid catching a late bus home. Although it rained the next morning, I decided to take my little camera out and explore anyway. Little did I know I’d discover one of the most peaceful and beautiful foggy mornings. It was as though Jiufen transformed into the Deserted Town in Spirited Away!! There was something comforting yet slightly eery about wandering alone in the fog.
