@channelnewsasia: The mother of a passenger on a flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv said on Wednesday (Sep 30) her daughter called her after chaos broke out on board, saying a man had pulled out a knife and forced a pilot to the floor. Flight FZ1073 transmitted emergency signals, including one indicating possible unlawful interference, before landing in the northwestern Saudi city of Tabuk, according to Flightradar24. Yasmin Abukasis said her daughter Miriam also described hearing screams and seeing blood before other pilots took control of the plane, which diverted to Saudi Arabia. The incident was not believed to be a hijacking, a spokesperson for the Israeli prime minister’s office said. #flydubai
