Please investigate how Islam began. They are not the same as Samaritans. Samaritan people worshiped on a "wrong" mountain, Islam does not believe Jesus is THE way. However, still show them the real Jesus, and tell them about the real Jesus. Maybe then God will reveal the truth through you to them and others.

I definitely think you got it twisted since Islam is a works based religion just like the Pharisees saw faith. I understand your point with how we should treat Muslims, I just don’t think your analogy is effective in communicating that.

I believe there are two things in play here. One is Samaritan and the other is Pharisee/religious elite. The common Muslim should be certainly seen as a Samaritan while the militant or aggressive Muslim can be addressed as Jesus did the Pharisees. The common people saw this and they learned from this. When Islam is shown to be false openly in these discussions, then other Muslims and insecure Christians see a strong perspective based upon truth and they also see the leaders defend indefensible actions from their prophet and souls are lead away from falsehood towards truth. I appreciate what you’re doing!

I get what you’re trying to say, and I would like to thank you for that because we do get a lot of comments like this, but I wanted to clarify something. we do worship the same God as you guys the only difference is that you see Jesus as a God as well. like the human form of God, while we see Jesus as a prophet so when yall attack “our god” you guys are also insulting your own god.

Please don’t stop learning about Islam, although you have found peace in Christianity and that’s awesome it’s also ignorant to not fully educate yourself on Islam without having to always compare it to Christianity. Yes comparison is a good way to understand something however using comparisons to as a way to point out which one sounds better is wrong because this isn’t a race or a battle, it’s understanding a people and why they pray like this, why their religion is different. I feel as if you haven’t stretched far enough without having to crawl back into Christianity, God doesn’t/ shouldn’t punish you for seeking knowledge. Respectful, you should learn about Islam the same way you learned about Christianity without thinking you’re doing something wrong. Seeking knowledge is a duty for every believer and it is also a form of worship, keep seeking knowledge and I’m exited to see what you will learn if you continue this journey ❤️

I don’t think the comparison is entirely accurate. The samaritans believed in the same god just choose to only believe in the first three books of the tora and it ended with Moses where the Jews believe the tora as well but also the prophets after Moses besides Jesus

yeah i think you got the story wrong. they didnt convert because Jesus stayed, but because he proved he was the messiah to the women, and then preached to the people living there, so no him staying isnt the reason he converted them

I personally wouldn’t call those who follow Christ a modern day Pharisee(unless they are Pharisees). I do think we should have love for people and even for those who hate us. Also theres been some people who turned to Islam and didn’t know exactly what’s in the Quran then left after finding out the truth.
