Life is Beautiful :
Six line poem…I am a tree. I have many leaves; Some are strong. Some are falling. Some are growing. I am becoming.

My dad is an artist, and he always says “create for the moment, not the memory, the artwork it’s self is the memory, but the moment is for yourself”

My sister went to LSU for grad school for her phD in English lit. She did her PhD dissertation on John Irving, and wrote a letter to him, including the dissertation. She asked him if her viewpoints were correct in relation to her perception of his symbolism in many of his books, she never expected to get a response. However, surprisingly he sent her back a 42 page letter in it, he explained that she had a keen perception, and most of it was on point however he went over a few instances where she misunderstood what he was trying to get across. Fast forward, she goes in for her final defense of her dissertation and goes over what she’s written for about an hour, and then the panel starts asking her questions about certain viewpoints of hers that could be incorrect.. at that point she brought out Irving‘s letter and explained to the panel where she was and wasn’t correct. So basically she defended her dissertation to John Irving himself already. Needless to say she was awarded her PhD and is now a Fulbright scholar.😊

I started embroidery a few years ago and it saved my life. I’m not kidding. Pouring myself into creativity has pulled me back from the brinks of despair. I hope everyone can embrace their creativity

The desire to create beauty is in our DNA. We are created in the image of God, the creator of the Universe, who looked at what He created and said, “This is good.” God bless you all, indeed. 🤍

As a millennial, this is exactly what I did almost everyday since elementary school and so did many of my friends. Played together, painted, wrote, danced...I believe the absence of this creative work is leading to the fall of humanity 🤷♀️

Listen yall . I fell into nihilism because of productivity maxing , capitalism and the thought of the copious amount of junk we make and discard . I'm creating again finally .

This is the essence of being human and the antidote to AI. Would a robot ever produce art for the sake of its heart? It couldn’t. This is beautiful thank you!
