Universal healthcare here in Aus, I was in hospital last year for just over 3 months and I paid zero dollars, I couldn’t even imagine how much that would have been if I was American… Universal healthcare/medicare for all is not the big bad boogeyman

I don't get the issue. Pay more tax and get medical cover. I'm pretty confident that it'll be cheaper for most. And the big income earners pay extra, I get it but it's for society's benefit.

From Belgium 🇧🇪 we have it. even never calling it socialist, it s social security, meaning everyone gets help when needed. its not for free. but we pay very little. and for tax, we love to pay tax to get good medicare . when you get really sick you ll be happy to have it .

I waited 4 months for a back surgery. I've never seen an emergency room where I didn't have wait hours and now my primary care can't see me for a week. usel to be able to get same day appointments

The argument against nationalized healthcare that people would wait in line. The reality is that people are not waiting in line right now because they’re not even trying to enter the system due to cost.

my friend found out he has a tumor when he went to hospital for something else he was in the military. The Va will not see him till March. The US has shitty healthcare. That is 7 month no different from Canada

every plan has downsides.. but the money it would save some people is better than what we are getting now. I am Disabled I lost my vision and job 2 years ago in January. medical from my company was 887.56 a month. that didn't include my life saving insulin or my other drugs. I had to choose months to eat or live. I am lucky and had family that would help me with food but I know that is something not everyone has. We need something new.
