WHAT REALLY HAPPENED..? 😳 A Flydubai flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv was forced to divert to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia, after a violent cockpit incident. Flight FZ1073, carrying around 180 people, transmitted emergency code 7700, followed by 7500, the code for possible unlawful interference. Israeli fighter jets were reportedly scrambled as the aircraft suddenly lost thousands of feet in altitude. According to Israeli officials cited by Reuters, the co-pilot allegedly stabbed the captain during a confrontation in the cockpit. Passengers reportedly helped restrain the attacker, while both pilots were injured and taken to hospital. The aircraft landed safely at Tabuk Airport at about 9:45 a.m., and Flydubai confirmed that all passengers were safe and accounted for. Authorities are investigating whether this was simply a cockpit fight or a possible attempted hijacking/terror attack. Some Israeli officials have alleged that there was an attempt to crash the aircraft, but the full circumstances and motive have not yet been established. No hijacking has been officially confirmed. There are many different accounts, but apparently the co-pilot stabbed the captain and he collapsed onto the controls, shutting down the entire instrument panel. We began plunging downward for several minutes... it was a terrible incident, we thought we were going to perish 🥹🥺
