they dont want to give actual Native American representation, unless they can make money off them. when they do, they try to take away anything thats represents native american culture. like the guy whose was supposed to play Jacob but refused to cut his hair. they couldve kept the wolf packs hair long. actual native warriors wouldn't even cut their hair. turning into a wolf wouldn't have changed that tradition.

We just had a Native American film festival at one of our state’s urban Indian organizations, and I know several Native authors, writers, and actors. The reality is, if we want our stories told accurately and authentic representation, we have to create and support our own projects. I recently got to meet several writers who have worked on Reservation Dogs and Resident Alien, and I absolutely loved hearing from them. There is so much talent in Indian Country, and our stories deserve to be told by us.
