I have mixed feelings about this because I have a issues with religion. I think her religion pushed her to stay in that marriage, no matter what. That environment ostracizes people who are single and divorced. Maybe if she had felt safe to leave the marriage and be OK being alone, she would still be alive. Stand by your man mentality is not the ultimate sacrifice. In this case, I think it should be normalized, encouraged for people to leave bad marriages. I feel so bad for the real victims in this… her children. 🥺
