Something similar happened when my kids were young but it was the teacher! She was shaming them for the treats in their lunch. I made it clear to her and the principal to mind her business unless she was prepared to supply lunch for the remainder of the year. It was none of her business.

Why does the mum have an issue with the Oreo’s? If there’s a reason she can’t have them I might have some sympathy. Like a sibling having an allergy so they can’t have them in the house. If she’s just like an almond mum who wants to pretend her kid doesn’t want sugar sometimes then she can get over herself.

So my solution would be sending 2 oreos- one for my kid and one for her to share with the other girl. Mom is apparently bonkers so that kiddo deserves an oreo.
