@foolsoxygen: He passed away today in the early morning, even when I was expecting it it still hurt, he’s been sick for a few days… weeks even, I had known that the water he lived in was a little bit too cold for him to properly function and I tried to do better but my negligence costed him his life. Before he died he developed a fatal infection, Death is so strange, how almost every alive being will experience it… it’s so simple yet so deep. I’m still wondering why I cared so much about that fish, at the end of the day it’s just a fish. he likely wasn’t “suffering” or in pain, he was just stressed and numb. yet I still feel sadness and emptiness.
