I understand this alot and even though some partners really do care and love you if their family doesn't accept you it can be quiet painful. My father is married to a bengali woman, and I know she puts her nose down to us yet wants my dad only because he looks good. During my dating days, I had a Pakistani guy take interest and he was very sweet but goodness all that worry about acceptance was too much and I had to leave it. It's already bad enough when you've got other African family look at you like oh you're part Jamaican and make judgments so imagine a whole other ethnicity lol
