@hitchlife: YOUR OFFSHORE PAYCHECK CAN BE BIGGER THAN YOUR BASE PAY — HERE’S WHY. 💰🌊 In this example, the worker earns $60/hour, works 12-hour shifts, and makes $10,080 gross over a 14-day swing before bonuses or overtime. Then the extras can start adding up — depending on the contract. Some offshore workers may receive bonuses, overtime, or additional compensation when weather delays a crew change or extends a rotation. But here's the important part: these payments aren't guaranteed across every offshore job. Bonus structures, overtime rates, weather-delay pay, meals, accommodation, travel, and other benefits depend on the employer and employment agreement. A $12,000 two-week swing might be possible in some contracts, but it's not a standard entry-level guarantee. Would the bonuses make you more willing to work a 14-day offshore rotation? 👀 👉 Follow @offshorecareer 👉 Comment “BONUS” if you'd want to know how offshore pay works 👉 Check the link in our bio for the complete step-by-step guide to getting into FIFO offshore work. #offshorejobs #offshorelife #oilrig #riglife #FIFO #oilfieldjobs #oilandgas #offshorecareer #offshorework #oilriglife #offshoreworkers #offshorepay #highpayingjobs
