@africantechbro.ai: 🇿🇦 Students at TUT and the University of Mpumalanga are already building with AI, and their projects might surprise you 👇 At the Mpumalanga AI Student Hackathon, teams used AI to solve real problems around them: 🔹 SignSure: verifying identities for digital signatures 🔹 AgricShield AI: helping agriculture recover from market disruptions 🔹 MineLink and MineGuard: making mining safer for workers In 2026, "I know how to use ChatGPT" won't make you stand out. "I spotted a problem and built an AI solution for it" will. 💻 3 beginner AI projects you can start building: 1️⃣ A bursary finder for South African students 2️⃣ An AI scam detector for fake job offers, bursary messages and WhatsApps 3️⃣ An AI study assistant that turns your notes into answers and quizzes Start small, put it on GitHub, and write down what you built, what broke and what you learned. 💬 Comment "PROJECT" and I'll send you my AI Student Project Starter Pack with the ideas, tools and a step-by-step roadmap. Save this and send it to a student who wants to get into AI. #students #university #southafrica #aitools #career
