@jgpunfiltered: Navigating postpartum as a man can be difficult. I struggled to understand a lot of things, but the more I learned the more it helped me be a better partner. #Postpartum #Kids

The absolute worst feeling is feeling so close and bonded to your partner right after birth, only for it to disappear a few short months into the experience, bc he expects things to go back to business as usual. No woman wants to be at her lowest and also have to battle her spouse over shit like not feeling up to a visit from someone, or not being in the mood to leave the house.

Helpful hint for men: If you feel like something she says or does doesn't make sense just ask for the thought process or why. Be kind and understanding, whatever the answer is accept.

We have 6 kids 12,10,6,5,2 and 3 months and I've been breastfeeding with no breaks since our first was born. That's every single day for over 12 years I am thankful my body continues to provide but dang so exhausted.
