@channelnewsasia: Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu hailed the flydubai passengers and cabin crew who subdued a pilot accused of stabbing the other pilot and trying to crash the plane on Wednesday (Sep 30). "I salute these heroes who showed exceptional resourcefulness and courage. They saved many lives; they prevented a heavy disaster," Mr Netanyahu said. The Tel Aviv-bound flight made an emergency landing in Saudi Arabia. The alleged attacker has been arrested and is being interrogated by Saudi authorities. Israel's national security minister Itamar Ben Gvir released a statement calling the attacker a "terrorist who planned to crash a plane and murder the 180 Israelis on board" Mr Netanyahu added that he has "instructed the security establishment to prepare for additional potential threats". #flydubai

I don't trust what he has just said. if a plane goes down with tailspin it is difficult to bring it under control and extremely dangerous for larger commercial airlines and the plane structure that were not built for tailspin like a small jet plane.
