ah so the skin thing is a side effect. it feels my skin is irritated almost feels like mild sunburn especially around the waist area where my clothes are always touching

You need to still put in the work while on it. Yes you can lose weight on it with just calories lost and everyone needs different dosages. Most people who have health issues at heavier weights will experience difficulties if you aren’t eating correctly even just lightly. Your diet is a big part of it too.
