It’s so cuteeeeee but girlie if you prefer voluminous hair I recommend lighter products so your hair gets more of a lift since it’s naturally straight it tends to fall limp so i would recommend not your mother’s curls or mar Anthony’s volume lineeee but either way your hair is so cutieeeee

girlll!!! treat her like a perm not like natural curls!! heavy products like gel to get a gel cast will not work the same on a perm as natural! i have curly hair with a friend who has a perm and we went through this exact experiment. biggest advice: treat it like a perm, leave in conditioner with some mousse for volume and frizz, then diffuse! the goal is not a cast because it’s not natural curls you want the lightweight curls not weighed down by gel. let me know if this helps 🫶🫶

i think you're using too many products that weigh your hair down! id also recommend trying to work in bigger sections with your curl brush, it will create bigger curl clumps and look less stringy!
