That might be a good thing that it’s out. Why would Hal include a pistol to bring to the planet if he has a lantern ring as his weapon? It might be a liability if it gets powered and Sinestro gets his hands on it.

I think we are gunna get the reveal of the yellow lanterns since Sinestro is on a planet of fear and John may get a yellow ring which will lead into a season 2 where at the start John learns of the all the shady stuff the guardians do but ultimately he’ll realise fear is not the way and overpower it and become a green lantern
