That's exactly it. You broke through the walls (the cycle). No applause, you'll probably be ridiculed for it. But you didn't just fight for your life, you fought for your new life, for a better life. Your children and grandchildren, whom you will one day have, will benefit from what you're going through right now, because they can grow up in the peace you created by breaking the cycle. And that's worth more than any applause now. 1592, what a number, so magnificent, free from addiction, violence, and imprisonment. Be damned proud of yourself. Keep your head held high.
