@innerbalancelab2: Getting 8 hours of sleep doesn’t automatically mean you’re getting healthy sleep. When you sleep matters too. Your body runs on a circadian rhythm that helps coordinate your sleep and wake cycle, and keeping a relatively consistent sleep schedule can support better sleep. That doesn’t mean you need to be asleep at 9 PM every night. But if your sleep schedule constantly shifts, you’re sleeping at completely different times each day, or you’re regularly staying up until the early morning and struggling to wake up, your sleep routine may be worth looking at. Think about: Your bedtime. Your wake time. How consistent they are. How much daylight you get during the day. How much light and stimulation you’re getting at night. And one important reminder: Don’t sacrifice sleep duration just to force an earlier bedtime. Most adults need at least 7 hours of sleep regularly, so the goal isn’t simply “sleep earlier.” It’s getting enough sleep while building a schedule that works well with your body and your life. If your sleep is consistently poor, you’re waking up exhausted, or you’re struggling to stay awake during the day, it’s worth looking beyond your bedtime routine and talking with a healthcare professional. Save this if your sleep schedule has been all over the place lately. 🤍 #sleephealth #bettersleep #fyp #sleeptips #wellnesstok

I work overnight and Ive talked to my doctor about this, he doesnt give a shit as long as I'm consistent and get 8 hours. Even days off, I sleep like a baby between maybe 4-6am and waking at like 12-2pm.
Doctor said more important and its dangerous to health if I try to flip my schedule on days off

As a single parent and person with ADHD this is NEVER going to happen!! People with ADHD have a different circadian rhythm too!

People have different circadian rhythms, especially for different age groups. Night owls and mornings larks have scientifically been proven significant, to which they have slightly different circadian rhythms. Factors like light which determine melatonin release can be altered. What a crap post. 8 hours is 8 hours

I sleep at 22:00 and wake up at 6:00 and I still feel like shit every morning! It’s because I don’t sleep 10 hours every day. 8 hours aren’t enough for me, no matter what time window I sleep through!

My actual cardiac rhythm is 4:00 am to 12:00pm and I identify as an owl 🦉. This might apply to some but not everyone. Let’s not fool and mis-inform the night owls with this information.

Because of my work schedule I am in bed by 230am. Wake up 630 to get kids ready and to school and back in bed by 9am and sleep until 1130 maybe 1pm and I have all these symptoms chronic fatigue, brain fog and my first meal isn’t until like 3-5pm. I feel horrible everyday. Can never catch up sleep 😔
