@yp_online_tv: 🚨 BREAKING NEWS: TINUBU MUST GO MOVEMENT GAINS MORE ATTENTION AS NORTHERNERS, LAWYERS JOIN The Tinubu Must Go (TMG) movement, associated with Barrister Abba Hikima, is attracting growing attention as more Nigerians, including people from Northern Nigeria and legal practitioners, publicly express interest in the movement. The development comes amid heightened reactions following the arrest and arraignment of five men in Maiduguri, Borno State, over T-shirts bearing the inscription “Tinubu Must Go.” According to reports, the five men were charged with criminal conspiracy, inciting disturbance, disturbance of public peace and thuggery under Sections 60, 78, 79 and 392 of the Borno State Penal Code. They pleaded not guilty, while their lawyers applied for bail. The court is expected to rule on the bail application on October 6, 2026, with the substantive case scheduled for October 26, 2026. The arrests have also attracted condemnation from Amnesty International, which argued that peaceful political expression through clothing should not be treated as a criminal offence. As the issue continues to generate public debate, more lawyers and supporters from Northern Nigeria are being seen expressing solidarity with the Tinubu Must Go movement, adding a new dimension to the political discussion ahead of the 2027 elections. 📌 The movement appears to be receiving increasing attention online and across different communities as debates over political expression and opposition continue.
