Easy way to look at it. You can’t lose something you don’t have the power to earn on your own. If you can’t work for it, how then would you be able to lose it or sell it. Salvation is a promise not an object. You can either accept it or deny it.

Hebrews 10:26 if we continue to deliberately sin after coming to the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice or atonement for our sins. Or Romans 6, shall we continue to sin that grace may abound? Lastly, is it less about "losing" salvation and more about choosing to walk away?

My concern is for some people, not all, who make it sound as though once you are saved, you are okay and that is the end of it. It is not as simple as that. Being saved is the beginning of the walk, not the end of it. What we do with the gift is what matters. Anyone who thinks they get to take God's salvation for granted is wrong, because they should strive to produce good fruit and cultivate a heart that repents when they fall. These kinds of things are the evidence that the gift is alive in us. ✨Look at David and Saul. Both were chosen and anointed. David fell into adultery and murder, and God still called him a man after His own heart, though the consequences were painful. Saul let jealousy consume him until he cultivated this murderous rage. He killed 85 priests of God, and killed an entire city, down to the livestock. The stories about David and Saul show us that being chosen is not the same as staying faithful. What we do with the gift of salvation truly matters.

I think you both are conflating 2 issues. I believe a person can LOSE this precious gift of s salvation if said saved person is knowingly and blatantly wicked. the falling away to me is about LEAVING the faith.
