From what I’ve read on pilot subreddits, the cockpit needs an access code to enter, this includes even if a pilot leaves the cockpit, they have to enter an access code to request re-entry, and the pilot inside still has to let them in. That’s what happened with Germanwings, the pilot outside couldn’t get back in, even after desperately trying to break down the cockpit door. So I’m genuinely confused, how were they able to just “break in” here???
