#SAE || HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY BELOVED ITOSHI SAE || 10.10.2026 🩷🎂 Another year celebrating our boy’s birthday, and another year of admiring him even more 🥹💞 Looking back at last year, when I had only just entered this fandom, it’s still hard to explain what drew me to Sae so much.. There was something so mysterious and unique about his character.. At first, what I felt wasn’t admiration, but a thousand questions I wanted to find answers to.. The more he appeared in each episode, the more curious I became.. Even after continuing the story through the manga and following it all the way to where we are now, my curiosity about him has only grown stronger.. And somewhere along the way, that curiosity turned into admiration.. Honestly, this isn’t something I experience very often.. For the first time, I found myself genuinely falling for a character like this.. I wanted to know more abt him, understand the way his mind works, learn about the things that weigh on him, and see him smile, even if it’s only the tiniest little smile.. Because deep down, I don’t think Sae is truly cold, never.. I think he simply doesn’t want to show his emotions, as if letting them show would mean exposing a weakness he can’t afford to have.. A Japanese prodigy who left his home to chase his dream in Spain, only to change that dream for the sake of his own future and his little brother’s.. I can’t even begin to imagine how much he had to go through over there.. But he chose to keep going for football, for his country, and for Rin.. I’ve always felt that the harsh words he said to Rin on that snowy night weren’t what he truly wanted to say.. Maybe he said those things because he couldn’t bear to look weak in front of Rin, someone who meant so much to him.. He chose to hurt Rin with his words rather than let Rin see him at his lowest.. 🥀 Sae, you’ve worked so hard all this time.. But it’s okay to take a little break, too.. 🥹 This world can be cruel, and you still have so much to fight for.. But behind all those struggles, there are people like us, who will always be rooting for you.. Please don’t be so hard on yourself.. We know you’ve been holding so much inside.. 🤍 Maybe, when the time finally comes, all this uneasiness and heartache we’ve been carrying will finally find peace when we get to see you and Rin make things right again.
