@stealth.mode.savings: Majorly intimidated sharing this 🫣 it has been YEARS since I’ve followed a fully fleshed out budget 🫠 tracking every expense is exhausting… and we’ve been living paycheck to paycheck for SO LONG that my biggest priority has only been to simply make sure essential bills were paid… I can live off a shoestring grocery budget if I have to. So I’m relearning following a budget! I LOVE crunching the numbers and having the organization of it, I’m not unfamiliar with the process. Just out of practice 😅

I use Google sheets to budget. An annual then separate tabs for each month. I color code a box next to the expense and once it's paid, I change it to uncolored. =)

its hard when you have inconsistent income. I try to stock up on pantry items and freezer items when I have more money so when I have less I can shop my stock. I also shop for sale items with digital coupons and in store specials.
