مقتدى الصدر غيّر مجرى التاريخ في العراق وكتب صفحة ناصعة للشيعة بصفتهم مقاومين للمحتل ،وحدهم الصدريون يحق لهم ان يهتفوا ( هيهات منا الذلة ) ووحده مقتدى الصدر من يقف شامخ الراس طاهر اليد نقي الضمير فلم يصافح محتلاً ولاهادن عميلاً والقوم كما قيل : رمتني بدائها وانسلت ،وربما لم تتلف باقات زهورهم على مقبرة جند الاحتلال في امريكا الى الان .
