Did you look at the rerentals on housing connect ? I found my apartment through the different websites they post and applied through the apartment website itself and got an email the next day

My sister had a cityfheps voucher from the shelter she got her apartment then she got kicked out with her kid after a couple years living in the apartment. She back in the shelter for another apartment. 😂🤷🏽♀️

They are having issues with the pre clearance. Go to re rental website, crossroads and apply they have apartments.

I went through this recently I had 2 vouchers connected to one apartment and they never moved me so now I’m stuck here until I can move out on my own because I make too much money. Mind you I’m a housing specialist (for cbo) so this experience is mind blowing.

That part.. Last week a landlord said she would go through with us then backed out two days later because I had a portion to pays she wanted a full voucher . But we work and my portion is only 1000 . Discrimination at its finest

It took me 18 months, and I did it on my own . The shelter never helped. You got to do it for yourself. Don’t know about the voucher you’re talking, but I worked with my health insurance company and got my apartment. The shelter staff was shocked how I did everything without they knowing and got through. Listen, you got to do this for you. Good luck to you 🙏🏽

Go to all the new apartments building sign up for a regular veining for the apartments and when I go see it that’s when u tell them u got a voucher
