I feel this deeply. I've pulled away from so many people because I'm so sick of the fake relationships, talking behind backs, and drama. I used to cry over not having many friends. Today, my husband is my best friend and my only friend and I'm content and at peace with that at this point in my life🤍🫶

I have one sister and haven't spoken with her in 16 years. I am always the problem bc my husband and I moved to Florida, she called us gypsies, did not support my stepdaughter in any way, shape or form, wouldnt let me babysit my nieces and nephew at my house bc I had a pitbull mix who was the sweetest boy ever and loved everyone and everything. I'd had enough. So I support you in this.

For the last like 15+ years, I’ve always been the friend to go visit others, be their listening ear, gift items, support their kids, ask about their family, etc etc, celebrate birthdays big, but no one has ever visited me, asks me about my life or my family, gifts me, or even remotely acts genuinely interested. In fact, most go days or weeks without ever texting back. LOL I’M DONE.

I used to coordinate getting together with a group of “friends” every 4-6 weeks. It was a LOT of leg work to get the day, time & location right. I stopped taking the lead & we haven’t gotten together in 7+ years

Nobody even cares that I became distant. I burnt all my bridges, and none of those people even tried reaching out to me asking where the hell I went! Literally, my closest friend of 20 years. I blocked him on everything except for my phone. It’s been three months and he hasn’t even tried reaching out to me. In the past, I would at least get a text but nope not this time

same. I've distanced myself from everyone this year because I realized how draining it is. I don't need a lot of people around me, I'm content hanging with myself. I'll be 40 years old and I've lived over half my life pleasing everyone else why I have neglected myself and fell apart. I can heal me, me is all I have. take care of yourself girl🤍

Everyone has their own busy lives & their own problems in their head. What if we stop demanding so much from ppl & just enjoy when you do both get a chance to get together again. I disappear from ppls lives so I don’t burden them with my low times. I wish I could reenter the picture without others taking it so personal that I disappeared.
