What would be a good reason an employee would attend an exit interview?

I work at a bank and I’ve u covered massive system issues over the last 90 days. Submitted tickets and have proof. Upper management still says it’s no excuse to not perform. Departments don’t communicate and they are asking us to coach people out the door based on faulty metrics. Today the branch lost water. Regional management was notified in the morning. It wasn’t u til 3pm we were told we could go home with no running water. What do I do? I have to report it and have email both that manager and operations of the system issues. I have dates times ticket numbers conversations compiled over 90 days and given it to operations yet regional and upper sales Management has ignored. Today made me lose it these women couldn’t use the rest room all day

I refused hr when they asked and my manager asked me to and I just kept saying no thank you and that I knew that HR would just waste my time. I had an abundance of thoughts, but knew that it would only benefit them and not me. I responded saying if my director would want to have a conversation I would be more than willing to in order to provide constructive criticism and of course they didn’t follow up proving in writing, that they weren’t interested in actual improvement.

If this is a place you want may need to return to, do the exit interview and lie. the job was great, the culture was amazing, and it was just the right opportunity. if not then I have always declined. I am leaving on a good note and going in and being honest will only serve as something that could be held against you.

What would you say about an employee who wants to show good will by attending the exit interview, in the event they get to their new employer, hate it, and want to explore returning. it could be endearing to attend, respectfully cite the reasons for leaving and leave on a good note.....or am I just being incredibly naive? 😂😂😂😂

9 times out of 10 it’s a waste of time. Yeah the “benefit” is that the company learns why they lose good talent. Problem is that the employer doesn’t have enough 🧠 or 💰 (usually it’s both) to sustain such talent. No good in getting solutions if they won’t act upon them. Thanks anyways! 💯😂

what I've done mine, I name names. and in my last one I asked specifically if they could name two policies that have been changed as a result of either the anonymous surveys or the exit interviews. they couldn't.
