its because they feel like if we didnt get dolled up we would somehow be less magical. its almost like seeing a guy like a girl with a bbl and the haters saying if she didn't have the bbl she wouldn't be all that. thats how they feel about Black women enhancing their beauty. "if yall didn't have fake hair you'd be less attractive thus putting them above us." if only we didn't have fake hair they'd be better. if only we didn't have longer eyelashes they'd be better etc. but as you said every race of women do it but Black women donit better so they're mad.

I just hate that there are laws against discrimination for hair - and that doesn’t mean that the laws being followed - it means that they have had a history of proven discrimination ? So maybe let’s tackle that first instead of turning a structural/ systemic problem into a personal problem.
