They stopped making things the way they used to because they realized everything lasted so long that nobody needed to buy new ones so now they make it so everything break so we just have to keep replacing everything hence why all these businesses stay in business

Tbf this is likely very inefficient in power and water. Modern dishwashers use significantly less water for similar loads, while consuming less energy. It's appealing being nostalgic, but such machines are dated and there's a reason they're no longer manufactured.

We had on similar. I know it was pink inside, maybe outside too? All I remember is that it sat in the dining room and mom wheeled it into the kitchen and connected it to the faucet to use it.
