@whinewithmama: Reading is one of the few things I’m simply not willing to be casual about in our homeschool. 📚 Not because every day is perfect. Not because every child learns the same way. But because I know how much confidence, independence, and opportunity can grow from a strong reading foundation. So we read aloud. We practice phonics. We revisit skills. We use books everywhere. And when something isn’t clicking, we slow down and keep working at it. I’m not raising kids who just get through reading lessons.
