♡🇱🇾 Ṣ̌⁷ã⁷F⁷â⁷🫂♡ :
To everyone who has the power to make our voices heard around the world, please do not ignore what Libyan women are going through. 💔🇱🇾
We are not asking for privileges; we are asking for our basic rights: to live in safety, to study, work, travel, and make decisions about our own lives without fear, threats, or unjustified control by others.
How many girls have been forced to remain silent out of fear of what people might say? How many women have suffered in silence because they fear no one will believe them or stand by their side? And how many girls have been denied opportunities or had their dreams taken away simply because they are girls?
What hurts most is not only the existence of this suffering, but also the fact that women are often told to stay silent to protect society's reputation, as if society's image matters more than the safety and dignity of its daughters. Protecting women does not mean attacking our country or society. It means working toward a safer and fairer country for everyone.
We love Libya, and we want the best for it. That is why we want laws that are fairly enforced, genuine protection against violence, harassment, and blackmail, equal opportunities for education and employment, and respect for women's dignity and their right to have a will, a voice, and a future of their own.
A Libyan woman's voice is not shameful. Demanding rights is not rebellion, and silence should never be the price of safety.
To every content creator, journalist, and human rights activist around the world: do not speak about us without listening to us, and do not ignore the voices of Libyan women who want their experiences to be heard. Give us the space to speak about our reality in our own words, and help amplify the voices of those who cannot speak out for fear of the consequences.
We want to live with dignity and safety. We want the future of every Libyan girl to be shaped by her dreams and abilities, not by the restrictions imposed on her.
Listen to Libyan women. Recognize that their suffering deserves attention. Do not let their voices disappear into silence.
