Halloween costumes. Familiar faces. Panku walked in beside him… but when his spiritual eyes opened, he saw what the crowd couldn’t. Something was already waiting!!💔 In this story, the darkest moment wasn’t Abaddon’s appearance. It was how ordinary everything looked while Lao was being pulled away. The music kept playing. People kept laughing. And his friend was standing right beside him, trying to reach him.. “You thought you were holding a drink. It thought it was holding you.” That line is the heart of this film, bro. What happens when something we reach for starts deciding where we go? When “just tonight” becomes the answer every time somebody asks if we’re okay? But look at Panku. He doesn’t embarrass Lao. He doesn’t leave him behind to prove a point. He stays close. Sometimes loving somebody means being the steady voice they can still hear when everything around them gets loud. 🤍 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. But watch the Watcher’s eyes. Every step is noticed. Every approach is met. The threat remains outside, and Lao finally has room to breathe. 🪽 “You called on Jesus. That thing doesn’t get the final word.” Brother… sister… your worst night does not have to write your ending. Accept help. Reach for the friend who stays. Bring what you’re carrying to Jesus.
